Frequently asked questions

Yes — and we get why you ask. Here is how we earn trust instead of asking for it:

• Every code is checked as unredeemed before it is listed for sale.
• Stock counts are live and real — we list what we actually hold.
• You redeem the code yourself on the official redemption page; we never ask for your login.
• A code that fails to redeem is replaced or refunded.

For full transparency: CapeCodes is an independent store and is not affiliated with Mojang, Minecraft or Microsoft.

You are buying a single-use redemption code for a specific Minecraft cape design — for example the Crafter Cape, Experience Cape or Follower's Cape. The code is entered on the official Minecraft redemption page and the cape is added to your Microsoft account. We never ask for your login details.

One code works for both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition on the same Microsoft account. After redeeming, equip the cape in your profile skin settings and it will show up in both editions.

We list verified codes for capes such as the Crafter Cape, Experience Cape, Follower's Cape, Purple Heart Cape, Home Cape, Copper Cape, Menace Cape, Builder Cape and Moonlight Trail Cape. Every listing shows the exact cape artwork and live stock count.

Codes are emailed automatically after checkout, usually within a minute. If anything delays an order, you will receive a status update from us directly.

No. Every cape code works a single time. That is why each code is checked as unredeemed before it is listed, and the stock count drops as codes sell.

We accept PayPal, card payments through Stripe, and cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Solana, USDT and USDC.

Contact support at support@capecodes.net with your order reference. A code that fails to redeem is replaced or refunded.
